This 270-degree View Apartment In Miami Beach Just Hit The Market For $16.95 Million

A top floor apartment building in Miami Beach, Florida, that provides open, 270-degree views of the city skyline and sea, is appearing on the market Tuesday for $16.5 million.

Placed on the twenty floor at Apogee, a luxury condo tower developed by Argentine-American billionaire Jorge M. Perez, the 4,155 square foot apartment has 4 bedrooms,  three baths, open entertaining areas and a home theater enhanced with floor-to-ceiling glass walls. It also comes with an eleven foot deep, 2,446 square foot terrace with a built-summer kitchen.

“The view, the area, and the architecture of the house, gathered, is what makes it so precious,”.  Since the building, which stands at twenty-four stories, is placed on the Southwestern-most tip of the island, the top floor residence enjoys views of the Atlantic Ocean, the downtown Miami Beach skyline and the Biscayne Bay.

The present owner is a Swiss entrepreneur, per the listing agents, who bought the house when the building was under construction. He closed on it in July 2008 for $7.3 million through a limited liability firm, property records show. He hired French interior designer and architect Michel Gamard to design the unit. The home’s art-deco interior contains nineteen different shades that speak to South Beach style.

For the past few years, the family used the apartments as a holiday home and decorated it with some special pieces of furniture, including a glass dining table from Carlo Santambrogio, who is famous for the view-through glass home “in Milan, Italy, a real couch of the late Zaha Hadid value $13,000. The furniture is not added in the asking price, but can be negotiated separately.
